David S. Beadle | CIH, CSP, Senior Certified Industrial Hygienist
David joined Guzi-West Inspection and Consulting (Guzi-West) in July 2026 as the firm's Industrial Hygiene Subject Matter Expert, serving as Certified Industrial Hygienist of record and directing exposure assessment, regulatory compliance, and technical review across the firm's project portfolio. Over a 39-year career, David has built and managed industrial hygiene, occupational safety, and environmental compliance programs for environmental remediation and hazardous waste operations, nuclear decontamination and decommissioning, demolition, military installations and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects, higher education institutions, public agencies, risk management and insurance clients, general industry, and construction. He has served as CIH of record on the California Department of Water Resources on-call industrial hygiene contracts since 2012. His technical practice spans workplace exposure assessment and air monitoring, HAZWOPER and Cal/OSHA and federal OSHA compliance, respiratory protection and hearing conservation programs, asbestos, lead, mold, silica, beryllium, and PCB surveys, radiological and chemical decontamination support, hazardous materials inventory and CERS reporting, indoor environmental quality investigations, construction and demolition project monitoring, loss control and risk evaluation, fire and smoke damage assessment, and expert technical review of stamped deliverables. David is certified as an Industrial Hygienist (CIH #6344) by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing and as a Safety Professional by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, is licensed as a Certified Asbestos Consultant by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health, and is certified by the California Department of Public Health as a Lead Inspector/Assessor and Lead Project Monitor. He applies published consensus guidance and quantitative exposure decision statistics to every assessment, and mentors Guzi-West's industrial hygiene leads in sampling design, data interpretation, and defensible technical writing. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation of Natural Resources from Kent State University in 1987.
When away from the office, David enjoys fishing, camping, and traveling, and spends his shop time restoring a 1957 Dodge Power Wagon.
